University of Sydney is committed to delivering excellence in student support. This is why anyone can notify the University about situations where a student may require support to enhance their experience and learning.
This form is only received and monitored within business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, excluding public holidays and University shutdown periods).
Please use this form when referring an individual student for support. If you have an incident or situation impacting more than one student, please e-mail details to student.wellbeing@sydney.edu.au.

The Learning Hub provides learning support to all enrolled students (UG, PG and HDR), completely free of charge. They deliver face-to-face and online support, workshops, peer programs, individual consultations, and supplementary materials to empower students to develop their capacity for academic communication and learning, mathematics, and research. Please complete the Learning Hub Referral Form. If a student is facing financial difficulties that impact on their studies, they may be able to apply for financial support. The University has a number of bursaries and interest-free loans to assist with essential study and living costs. You can find out more information on the different types of support here.
Financial support can be used for essential living and study expenses such as textbooks, laptops, medical expenses, bond and rent payments and groceries. Bursaries and loans will not be provided for payment of tuition fees.
Please confirm that the reason for this referral, is to assist the student with financial support only. By confirming below, this Care Report will be directed to the Office of Student Life to discuss financial support options with the student you are referring.
